Our balcony screws in dusty grey (RAL 7037) with metric thread and a head diameter of 16mm are made of high-quality A2 stainless steel. In order to enable the assembly of balcony claddings in different thicknesses, we offer screws in different lengths with different clamping ranges. The screw head is coated with a special, scratch-resistant head lacquer, which has been specially matched to our dust-grey HPL panels. Thanks to the use of an A2 steel alloy for the individual components, the screws are rust-free, corrosion-resistant and UV-resistant. This means that the balcony screws can be used outdoors without hesitation, which is a prerequisite for balcony cladding.
Depending on the size of the balcony cladding, you will need different numbers of screws. With us you not only benefit from attractive graduated prices, but you can also buy exactly the number of balcony screws you need for your balcony instead of having to buy fixed packaging units of 100 screws.
TIP: A Torx Bit T20 and a spanner 8mm are needed to fix the screws, which are not included.
The individual elements of the balcony screws are made entirely of high quality A2 stainless steel with the exception of the self-adhesive polysheet, which is characterised by very good corrosion and acid resistance. The total length of the balcony screws without cap nut varies, depending on the selected screw, whereby 2mm must be added to the round, lenticular screw head to the specified thread length. In order to prevent unintentional loosening of the cap nut, the corresponding area of the screw thread has been coated with a screw locking lacquer. In addition, a spring washer placed in front of the cap nut ensures that the screw connection cannot be unscrewed.
In order to make the installation of our HPL panels as balcony cladding as inconspicuous as possible, our threaded screws are equipped with a high-quality and scratch-resistant dust-grey head coating. This lacquering is exactly matched to our HPL panels in RAL 7037 in terms of colour tone and gloss level. In addition, the head lacquer is extremely scratch-resistant, weatherproof and UV-resistant to prevent the grey colour from fading due to sunlight.
The clamping range of our stainless steel balcony screws varies depending on the thread length of the screw. Please note that the clamping range refers to the panel thickness plus the material thickness of the support structure.
The lacquered screws are ideal for mounting our HPL panels in dusty grey on a substructure made of aluminium, steel or stainless steel as balcony cladding. The colour was mixed exactly onto our corresponding HPL panels in Dust Grey and matches in colour tone and gloss level. Please make sure that the facade screws are installed without any constraint. This means that the screws may be tightened with a torque between 2Nm and 4Nm. At best, use a facade panel drill bit with a diameter of 8mm for the holes of the HPL panels to ensure that there is sufficient clearance for the holes even if the HPL panels expand thermally.
Depending on the substructure of the balcony balustrade, the mounting points of the cladding panels are already predetermined, so that you can usually take them over without hesitation. If you have to drill the position of the fixing points yourself, we strongly advise you to follow the installation instructions for the substructure and the corresponding panel. Particularly with HPL panels, you should define a screw connection as a fixed point and the remaining fixing points as sliding points, so that the panels do not deform when expanding due to the effect of heat.
However, the balcony screws are not only suitable for HPL panels as balcony cladding, but for almost all panels that are to be mounted on a metal substructure. Depending on taste, these do not even have to be dusty grey. Aluminium composite panels, other coloured HPL panels, acrylic glass or polycarbonate panels can also be fixed with the screws, to give a few examples. Even panels made of solid aluminium or steel can be mounted with the screws without any problems. However, always pay attention to the weight and the required clamping range which is determined by the thickness of the panels and the substructure.
TIP: Matching our balcony screws in RAL 7037, we stock HPL panels in dusty grey in thicknesses 6mm and 8mm with ETB approval for the installation of balcony cladding cut to the exact millimetre in our online shop.
