Properties of the L-BOXX Mini assortment box

The L-BOXX Mini assortment box is the smallest of the L-BOXX series and is used for small parts assortments from a large number of brands. In addition, the box is also sold by many brands as an unfilled version, such as the fischer FIXtainer L-BOXX Mini for filling yourself. Irrespective of the different colours, which vary depending on the brand, the L-BOXX is available with a transparent lid or opaque lid. We deliberately opt for the version with a transparent lid so that a quick view of the contents is guaranteed even without opening the box. This is a pleasant advantage, especially if you have several boxes. Thanks to the integrated click system, which allows quick and easy stacking thanks to spring-mounted coupling levers made of shock-resistant ABS plastic, the boxes can be transported very easily in combination. All L-BOXX Mini - regardless of colour or brand - are compatible with each other. This means that the empty assortment box can also be easily combined, stacked or carried with the L-BOXX Mini from Sortimo, Bosch, Flex or Wago.

The L-BOXX Mini can be individually divided with the 7 integrated dividers. Of these seven dividers, two are 15cm long and are suitable for dividing the box widthwise. This means that up to three compartments with a width of approx. 8cm and a depth of just under 15cm are possible. The long dividers can also be used to divide the depth of the box, provided the second divider is placed to separate a compartment in the width. The three smaller dividers, approx. 7.5cm wide, can be used to further reduce the size of the compartments. In total, up to 6 individual compartments are possible, each measuring approximately 8cm x 8cm. If no divider is used, a large single compartment is achieved with internal dimensions of 229.0mm for the width, 149.5mm for the depth and 44.2mm for the height.

All individual parts of the L-BOXX Mini are made of high-quality polypropylene. The only exception are the spring-mounted coupling levers for the integrated click system, which are made of robust ABS. This means that the transport box can also be used without hesitation for storing and transporting unpacked food. However, the box is not suitable for liquids because it is not leak-proof. For easy cleaning in the dishwasher, the L-BOXX Mini can be easily dismantled into its individual components so that the lid, the handle, the dividers and the box itself can be cleaned easily and thoroughly. Only the coupling levers are not easily removable.

In addition to the typical areas of application for storing screws, dowels, rivets or other assembly materials, the L-BOXX can be used for countless other areas to create order. In the case of the pre-sorted assortment boxes from fischer in our online shop, we have already gone into the most diverse possibilities for further use of the L-BOXX in the craft sector. As a practical organisation system, however, the box is a useful little helper wherever a wide variety of small parts need to be stored clearly and within easy reach. From office supplies, such as paper clips and staples, rolls of adhesive tape and writing utensils, to cutlery for a small picnic outing, to sewing kits, batteries and rechargeable batteries, or even small decorations for the Christmas tree and the Easter bush, there are no limits to the imagination for filling the L-BOXX Mini and, if necessary, it can be usefully combined with several boxes.

The food approval enables clear storage of unwrapped or wrapped food, such as tea bags or sauce and spice mixtures. In principle, the box can also be used in the refrigerator for cheese, sausage or the like, but the L-BOXX does not seal airtight. Sweets can also be filled into the box very well. You could even separate the gummy bears by colour thanks to the six compartments, or store liquorice separately from wine gum so that the wine gum doesn't take over the dominant flavour of the liquorice.

For our youngsters, the assortment boxes are fantastic for safely storing accessories from Playmobil or Lego sets so that they don't fall victim to the hoover. Clothes from the Barbie or LOL-Surprise figures, trading cards, crayons, craft accessories or toy cars from Matchbox also find enough space in the L-BOXX and create a little more order in the children's room.

TREND: Diamond paintings are currently extremely popular with children (and adults). In such a painting, very small plastic pyramids or lenses - the diamonds - are glued onto a pre-printed, self-adhesive canvas, creating an overall picture with a three-dimensional effect. Depending on the motif and size, many small individual bags with thousands of diamonds in different colours come together in such a Diamond Painting. With a size of approx. 1.5-2mm, these can get lost very quickly. They will be missing later and the painting cannot be finished, which will result in sad children's eyes. In the L-Boxx, the bags can be stored very well and already pre-sorted according to colour groups.
