Parabond 600 in grey - a construction adhesive for extreme requirements

MS-Polymer Parabond 600 in grey (RAL 7004) is an adhesive and sealant that allows bonding and sealing of materials in one step. As a construction adhesive, Parabond 600 grey is ideal for bonding almost all materials used in construction such as aluminium, galvanised and stainless steel, zinc, copper, natural stone, concrete, bricks, cement-based exterior cladding panels, solid core panels, untreated wood, plaster, glass, glaze, various plastics and is also suitable for bonding and with natural stone. Parabond 600 in grey also adheres to damp substrates.

The adhesive strength of the grey construction adhesive has a shear strength of an enormous 32kg/cm² and a tensile strength of 24kg/cm² after complete curing and is therefore also suitable for large, heavy wall claddings and ceiling tiles. The tensile strength at initial adhesion is already 300g/cm².

Parabond 600 in grey should be applied in temperature ranges from +5°C to +40°C. After curing, the temperature resistance is -40°C to +90°C. Thanks to its UV and weather resistance, Parabond 600 grey has weatherproof properties and can be used for bonding and sealing both indoors and outdoors. In addition, the adhesive and sealant is insensitive to frost and moisture.

Processing Parabond 600 in grey

Thanks to the good flow properties of the construction adhesive, the grey Parabond 600 can be easily applied with any commercial squeeze gun and enables a fine, consistent dosage. Building materials and materials to be bonded should be applied as quickly as possible, due to the relatively rapid skin formation and high initial adhesion, but at the latest within 10 minutes after application.

NOTE: Parabond 600 cannot be used for bonding to PE, PP, PA (nylon) or PTFE (Teflon).
