Our Paracryl Parquet in beige is a sealant for parquet and laminate indoors that is suitable in colour for a whole range of light wood types. The Parquet Acrylic has excellent adhesion to all porous building materials, ceramics, metal or even laminate and is therefore ideal for grouting skirting boards and wall connection joints for all types of wooden floors. In addition, the acrylic sealant is well suited for filling uneven areas, cracks, holes and damage in wood, for example in wooden doors, frames, stairs or furniture. Paracryl Parquet Beige contains no solvents and is free of phthalates or silicones. The sealant for light wood types can be sanded and painted over very well after curing.

Paracryl Parquet is an elastic filler and sealant for interior applications for sealing connection joints of wall and skirting boards in wooden floors, such as parquet, floorboards, laminate or cork. The silicone-free compound also fills larger cracks, unevenness and imperfections in surfaces and is therefore a perfect solution as a repair and filling compound of damaged wooden surfaces. As a ready-to-use, single-component sealant in the 310ml standard cartridge, the acrylic can be applied with any standard cartridge press.
The main difference between a conventional painter's acrylic and a parquet acrylic is the higher Shore hardness after the sealant has fully hardened. This makes it much easier to rework by sanding afterwards. In this way, an excellent evenness with seamless transition from wood surfaces to the acrylic can be produced, which is hardly visible due to the wood-like colour, even without painting over it.
In order to be able to use the parquet acrylic for sealing and repairs indoors without hesitation, it meets the strict requirements for the VOC emission class with the top grade A+. This means that no harmful substances are emitted either during processing or during or after curing.
NOTE: Acrylic sealants should be stored between +5 and +25°C. Always store opened cartridges in an airtight container so that the acrylic can be used again at a later date.
Paracryl Parquet Beige is a ready-to-use, one-component sealant that is applied like silicone with a cartridge press and processed in a similar way. However, Parquet Acrylic does not contain silicone, so it can be sanded very well later and painted over with common dispersion-based paints and varnishes. Due to the large number of colour additives and colour formulations, a compatibility test is recommended. Another difference to silicone is that no special smoothing agent is needed to smooth the sealant, because acrylic is water-soluble in the pasty state, so that cracks, unevenness or joints can be smoothed very well with simple tap water.
The parquet acrylic in beige, as the name suggests, is mainly used for connection joints of parquet, laminate and skirting boards. However, the light-coloured sealant is also suitable for filling cracks, holes and gaps in boards, beams and veneers, as well as for levelling out unevenness in wooden surfaces. The light colour is not specifically adapted to a certain type of wood and can be used for many light woods such as poplar, lime, spruce, birch, maple or light pine without the sealant being particularly noticeable.
Acrylic polymer is sensitive to water as long as the curing process is not yet complete and can therefore be removed very easily from tools or the substrate with tap water. After the sealant has dried, however, it can only be removed mechanically by cutting it out with a knife or gouge or by scraping it off with a profile scraper.
NOTE: The parquet acrylic is ideal for countless indoor applications, but cannot be used for areas where there is prolonged or regular contact with moisture. Furthermore, the acrylic, which was specially developed for wood materials, is not suitable for floor coverings made of PVC, vinyl or linoleum. In particular, joints subject to movement should not be subjected to high loads until the sealant has fully cured. The permissible deformation should not exceed 5%. After the sealant has dried and cured, a maximum deformation of up to 12.5% is permissible, which is more than sufficient for most applications where a parquet acrylic is used.
