PETG is a highly resistant plastic that can also be used at very low temperatures of up to -40°C. The temperature of the PETG sheet should not exceed 70°C. The operating temperature of PETG sheets should not exceed 70°C. Furthermore, PETG is not suitable for outdoor use, but there are also special UV-stabilised types which we can supply on request.
PET-G (polyethylene terephthalate glycol) sheets are in most cases transparent or opaque (milky) plastic sheets, which are characterised in particular by their impact strength and break resistance.
PETG is a highly transparent polyester that can be easily thermoformed. PETG sheets that have been stored for a long time should be dried before thermoforming. PETG sheets have good impact strength and excellent chemical resistance. PETG sheets can be glued, painted and machined without problems.
PET-G (polyethylene terephthalate glycol) is a thermoplastic polyester and has a comparatively high density of 1.3g/cm³. PETG is relatively impact resistant and can be used at temperatures of -40°C to +70°C.
We also deliver on request:
PET-G is used as a filament for 3D printing. In sheet form, the transparent material is ideal for displays in advertising and trade fair construction or as transparent protection for displays in mechanical engineering. PETG is excellently suited for thermoforming and is also very often used for the production of blisters or films in the packaging industry.
Do you need the PETG sheets cut to a specific size, or do you want a specific shape to be contoured? Thanks to our modern sheeting machines and our CNC milling centres, neither cutting your PETG sheets to the millimetre nor creating moulds according to your specifications is a problem.
Simply send us your enquiry with the desired thickness of the PETG sheets, the required quantity and, in the case of steep slopes, a design drawing or sketch with dimensions. Our competent staff will then contact you immediately and send you a tailor-made offer.
We process the following formats: DXF, DWG, STEP or IGES. Furthermore, we are able to convert AI and EPS files.
