2-component adhesive Plexus MA310™ - the adhesive from the automotive industry

Plexus MA310™ is a special 2-component methacrylate adhesive, which is applied in a mixing ratio of 1:1 and has been developed especially for the structural bonding of thermoplastics, preferably with thermoplastics (except polyolefin such as PE, PP, PTFE). For bonding polyolefin we recommend our special PE and PP adhesives from S-Polybond. Plexus MA310™ is especially recommended for bonding thermoplastics such as polyamide, ABS, ASA and rubber. For this reason, this special 2K adhesive has been used in the automotive industry for a long time. MA310™ is also suitable for fibreglass, PVC, polyesters (also DCPD modified types) and epoxies.

Plexus MA310™ combines high strength and stiffness with the ability to create excellent adhesion on very many substrates and is suitable for a temperature range from -55°C to +121°C. The two-component adhesive is particularly resistant to hydrocarbons, salt solutions as well as acids and bases (in the pH value range of pH3 - pH10).

Processing of Plexus MA310™

For the application of the 2-component methacrylate adhesive Plexus MA310™ you need a special glue gun that is suitable for 50 ml double cartridges. The materials to be bonded should be cleaned of dust and grease beforehand for a perfect bonding result. The surfaces should also be dry. After application, there is a working time of 15 - 18 minutes in which the elements to be bonded should be brought together. The fixing time, on the other hand, is 30 - 35 minutes. For the use of the remaining plastic adhesive, the double cartridge can be closed again with the corresponding cap.
