The white Aqua-Plus PP-R pipe clips are used for surface mounting of pipes and ensure maximum safety during pipe mounting thanks to the additional lock. Even with pipes used for water supply, which have a higher weight due to the water contained in the pipe system, loosening or falling down of the pipe is impossible. Because the plastic clamps, like the pipes, are made of white polypropylene random copolymer, the pipes can be fixed as inconspicuously as possible.
We not only offer the white pipe clips in all sizes to match our PP-R pipes, but also at favourable graduated prices. We deliberately do not use fixed packaging units, so that the plastic clips for pipe mounting can be ordered in any quantity - even 1 piece.
The white clips for fixing plastic pipes, are made of the same material as all pipes and fittings of the Aqua-Plus PP-R pipe system, so that an inconspicuous installation of the pipes is possible. The sturdy plastic clips made of impact-resistant polypropylene ensure a secure hold when clipping in the pipes. The risk of the clips breaking when screwing or inserting the pipes is eliminated due to the robust plastic. The additional fastener gives extra security to the pipe fastening.
When laying several pipes, the pipe clips can be strung together, which reduces the installation effort. It does not matter whether the pipes are all to be laid in the same diameter or whether pipes of different sizes run next to each other.
The white plastic clips are not only suitable for the white PP-R pipes of the Aqua-Plus pipe system, but can also be used for mounting cable conduits made of PVC, flexible empty pipes or installation pipes with a diameter of 20mm, 25mm, 32mm or 40mm. The pipe clips can also be used for aluminium or steel conduits. For example, the 20mm plastic clip can be used to fix a Stapa pipe size PG13.5 with an outer diameter of 20.4mm.
The mounting distances for PP-R pipes sometimes vary significantly depending on the nominal diameter of the pipe. In addition, the temperatures of the transport fluids are also decisive, so that the distances between the individual fastenings must be reduced as the water temperature increases. In the installation data sheets, which can be downloaded separately for each pipe diameter on the page of PP-R pipes in white, you will find helpful information on installation depending on temperatures and the linear expansion of PP-R pipes.
To attach the pipe clips to the wall and ceiling, we recommend transferring the course of the pipe to the wall with a striking cord to ensure a straight course. This is an extremely helpful method of marking the positions for the drill holes, especially for longer runs. Once the fixings have been marked out, the mounting base must be drilled with a drill bit suitable for the building material. For the mounting clips, we recommend a drill with a nominal diameter of 6.0mm. When determining the drill holes, pay attention to the positions of the pipe sockets, as these cannot be clipped into the pipe clip, so the drill hole may have to be moved slightly in front of or behind them.
For mounting the clips on wood materials, our chipboard screws from fischer with 4.5mm diameter and partial thread are perfect. If, on the other hand, the installation is to be carried out on stone, concrete or similar materials, dowels suitable for the material are also required. A 6mm diameter plug and matching screws with a head diameter of 9.0mm are ideal for plastic clamps.
NOTE: If several pipe clips are lined up, it is not necessary to fasten each one with screws and dowels. In the case of two pipe clips next to each other, it is recommended to screw every second clip to the right and every second clip to the left. With three to four clips, it is usually sufficient to fasten the two outer ones so that these provide the middle support. If the number of adjacent pipe clips exceeds four, one (or more) should also be fastened in the middle.
