PTFE sheets - the first choice for high temperatures

PTFE sheets offered by us in thicknesses of 1mm-20mm in natural have the typical white colour of PTFE throughout. This means that both the cut edges and the surfaces have the same colour. The surface of our PTFE sheets is smooth and appears rather matt. The picture in our online shop shows an original image of the PTFE sheets we offer.

Product characteristics for our PTFE blank

PTFE sheets (also known under the brand name Teflon™) are suitable due to their outstanding temperature resistance from -200°C to +260°C, especially for applications where extreme temperatures are to be expected. The excellent sliding properties of PTFE, as well as its high chemical resistance, also contribute to the fact that this high-performance plastic can be used for a wide range of applications. For example, PTFE is often used for plain bearings in mechanical engineering or in the construction of bridges. PTFE is approved for use in the food industry, so it is also frequently used in the medical and food sectors.

Simply enter your desired dimensions for length and width and choose from one of the available thicknesses 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 10mm, 15mm or 20mm, as well as the required quantity. Our cut configurator will then calculate your individual price and, thanks to our constant stock, we will be able to deliver your customised PTFE sheets to your desired address within a short time. The cutting is done on one of our modern panel saws with a very low sawing tolerance of only +/-1mm.

NOTE: Due to the low thickness, our PTFE sheets in 2mm thickness tend to have a low inherent stability, but can also be placed around radii and curved surfaces.

Approvals for our white PTFE sheets

Our white blanks made of polytetrafluoroethylene are physiologically harmless and food safe and are therefore approved for use in food processing industries and in the drinking water sector. PTFE is also used, among other things, for non-stick coatings on pans, as cutting pads in the catering industry or in butcher shops, as well as in conveyor technology for the industrial processing of food.

Processing of our PTFE blanks

PTFE is a high-performance technical plastic and is usually processed into finished products. PTFE sheets can be easily machined by cutting processes such as sawing, grinding, drilling or milling, without the need for special tools. Normal woodworking tools can be used to saw these sheets. A standard cordless screwdriver is sufficient for drilling holes. Please use drill bits for metal processing. Our sheets made of PTFE are impact-resistant material, therefore no chipping or tearing is to be expected.

The production of milled parts from PTFE plastic is also very unproblematic. Please note that we can also produce milled parts from PTFE for you, according to your design drawing, because we have state-of-the-art 3-axis CNC milling machines for plates up to a size of 4.0x2.0 metres. We offer you the material and the machining from a single source.

NOTE: PTFE is anti-adhesive and therefore cannot be glued. Due to its repellent surface, it is also not possible to paint or stick a film on it.
